Response to Blog post by a teacher.

I think this blog post is very accurate and I agree to it.  The teacher is saying the truth that school isn't about learning.  That even him as a teacher knows it's not about learning.  "The main event" of school is to push yourself in all areas, not only academics.

Blog Post of the Day:
3 day weekend... how was it? Give me a good story or something funny that happened this weekend. Go.

Over the weekend I caught up on sleep and homework.  I started the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and got more than half way through the first season in one day.  I also had my first hamburger since the beginning of lent.  My family and I also went out to a nice dinner to celebrate my parents 19th wedding anniversary.  I ended my weekend by having my two softball games canceled.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement. Elaborate on why you agree of disagree.

If images are on the internet they should be "free game".

I agree and disagree to some extent.  If an artist puts a piece of work online, I don' think it's right to take it and claim it as your own.  I definitely think credit should be given in the form of a citation.  On the other hand I think photographs of animals, food, or any other generic topic should be fair game.

Reflect on your resume website.

I am very proud of my resume website.   I feel like it is very in depth and shows a lot about who I am.  I learned that they can be very useful in the world of business.  If I were to do something differently, I would add more visuals to my site or make it more hands on.  I really like the idea of a resume website and might use it in the future.

What's the coolest thing you've learned in Web Design so far? Why is it so cool and how can it help you in the future?

The coolest I've learned in web design is how to make a resume website.  They can be very helpful in the future.  You can use then to apply for jobs and even college.  I like the fact that the whole web site is on one page.

Blog Post of the Day:
Define 'User Experience'. What does it mean and how does it relate to web design? Explain yourself.

Without Google I thought user experience meant just what you might think.  It's about how the user or viewer perceived the website.  Google gave me this definition, "User Experience: involves a person's behaviors, attitudes, and emotions about using a particular productsystem or service."  When you relate it to web design it is about designing the website so the user feels some sort of way, whether it's to feel happy, scared, or even confused.  One of the main things you should think about when making a website is how the user will experience it.

Blog Post of the Day:
What is a resume website? What do people put on resume websites. Spend about 5-10 minutes looking up resume websites and what they are used for. Explain what you find. Include an image of a resume website if possible.

A resume website is a website a person makes about themselves to tell others about their accomplishments, skills, and creativity.  The can be given to possible employers to show them everything about yourself.  They are very helpful when looking for a job. Many peoples resume sites included a picture of themselves, past work experiences, and the extent of their education.  The picture I provided is Robby Leonard who is a creative person who showed his skills by using a video game theme to tell about himself.
